Swatch Jobs
1. To create a new job with a product type of swatch, go to New Production Order on the left side menu or click New on the Order Search screen.
2. In the Order Wizard chose a Customer, Product Type (Swatch) and Quantity and click save to continue to the job details page successfully.
NOTE: Adding a Product Subtype and Product is optional, but can be beneficial if you chose to do routing at the product or product subtype level.
3. Next, click on the Product tab (as shown below).
Here, users can edit the product name if necessary and choose a Subtype (optional) if one has not already been chosen. Users can then view how many Swatch Groups and Swatches they currently have (icons next to Swatch Groups).
4. To add Swatch Groups, press 'Add Group'. It will populate a new Swatch Group (as shown above).
5. Next, users can enter in all details needed for swatches and when complete you can click on 'Add Swatches' in the top right corner of the swatch group (shown below).
NOTE: We suggest if you have similar swatches, to fill out as much information here as possible because some things will be required in the next step before being able to save successfully.If you will have different swatches, you can leave it blank and the required fields will show for each separate swatch in the next step.
7. Before being able to successfully save your new swatches, all boxes outlined in yellow must be filled in.
There is an action menu next to the individual swatch boxes that allows you to Copy Swatch if needed.
The box next to Swatch Group is the number of swatches in the group.
NOTE: Make sure to click save before leaving this page.
Components-
The Components tab of a Swatch Job is where users are going to source material to produce the swatches that you defined on the product tab.
Here, users have the option to view all Components on the left side vertical menu. Users can also add components from this page or view the history of the component details.
NOTE:
You can only delete components from this page if they were created here.
All boxes outlined in yellow are required before saving successfully.
Adding a Swatch Job to an Order-
There are 2 ways to do this:
1. Users can click on the action menu next to the Order # on the order search screen and choose Add Product To Order.
OR
2. Within the Order, on the left hand side of the screen there is a box with a shopping cart. Its action menu has an option to a Add Product to the Order.
Duplicating a Swatch Job To an Order-
Within the Order Jobs tab, the action menu beside each job allows users to choose if they would like to Copy Job To This Order or Copy Job to New Order.
