Blue Kollar has many pages that allow associating documents or web resources with various business facets. When associating a document or web resource, typically a friendly name is given along with a Document Type. Blue Kollar has a list of default Document Types, but tenant admins are free to add more on the Document Types admin page:

Adding Documents

Begin the process of adding documents or web resources by clicking on the appropriate buttons within a documents page...

Most document pages will have Add Document and Add Link buttons. See above for an example of what you can expect to see at the top of each document page.

  1. Add Document. This button will allow you to add a document to the current business facet.
  2. Add Link. This button will allow you to add a web resource (URL) to the current business facet.

Pressing Add Document will display an entry form for adding documents...

  1. The friendly name you would like to give to the document being uploaded. This will be be name shown after the document has been uploaded. It does not have to match the name of the actual fiel you are uploading.
  2. The Document Type for the file being uploaded. Blue Kollar has a list of default types but tenant admins can add to this list using the Document Types admin page.
  3. You can add your document by dragging into the box outlined with a dotted line.
  4. Alternatively, you can press the Browse button to use your browser's file explorer to find the document you would like to upload.
  5. Press Save to save your uploaded document.
  6. Press Cancel if you would like to cancel adding a document.

Pressing Add Link is very similar to adding documents...

  1. The friendly name you would like to give to the URL being associated with the current business facet.
  2. The Document Type for the URL. Blue Kollar has a list of default types but tenant admins can add to this list using the Document Types admin page.
  3. The URL you would like to associate with the current business facet.
  4. Press Save to save your associated URL.
  5. Press Cancel if you would like to cancel associating a URL.

Reviewing Documents

After documents have been uploaded, they will be displayed within the documents page you are currently viewing.

  1. The name of each document is a link that may be clicked to download the document for viewing. If the document is a web resource (URL), the link will navigate your web browser to that web resource (URL). Also shown along with the name of the document is the document's type, size, upload date, and who uploaded it.
  2. Each document has an action menu with the following menu items...
    1. Download will also allow you to download the selected document.
    2. Remove will allow you to remove the document.
    3. Replace will allow you to replace the content of the selected document.
    4. Rename will allow you to change the friendly name of the document.
    5. History will show you the revisions of the document that have been made (not to be confused with content changes).
